We founded Argus in 1996 after recognizing that organizations need a more grounded approach to brand development and communication. We engage audiences in creative ways to build strong stakeholder connections and drive our clients’ business forward.

Jeff Breidenbach, Creative Director

Jeff leads the branding and design process by putting himself in the other guy’s shoes. His strategic work cuts to the core of what must be communicated, providing clarity, meaning and motivation.

Jeff graduated magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati’s acclaimed graphic design program. He has worked across the country, gaining experience in New York, Boston and finally San Francisco where he co-founded Argus, llc. Since inception clients have included Amazon, Bank of America, BRIDGE Housing and Johnson & Johnson. His work has been honored by many of the top industry competitions including Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, AR100 and AIGA, SEGD, Type Directors Club, IDSA, and the Mercomm Arc Awards. Jeff has also been a design instructor at California College of Art and Academy of Art University, both in San Francisco.

Branding and design are not his only creative outlets. Cooking, designing furniture and creating art projects with his two daughters help round out his life. Jeff’s mild obsession for fly fishing won’t get in the way of project schedules, but he may bore you with a fish story or two.

Stephanie Wade, Creative Director

Stephanie has been producing award-winning marketing communications and design for close to 20 years. She’s a big picture thinker, motivated by solving problems, empowering others and providing meaningful results. During her career, Stephanie has worked with clients like Levi Strauss & Co., Athleta, Converse, Chronicle Books, Power Integrations and Union Bank of California. Her work has received awards from Print Magazine, How Magazine, The West Coast Show, Communication Arts and AR100. It has also been included in publications such as “The Annual of the Type Director’s Club” and “Creativity.”

Outside of the office, Stephanie participates in her local community by volunteering as a PTA officer, Board member and with the local theater. Stephanie has been an active in the arts community, volunteering with the American Institute of Graphic Arts, teaching at the California College of Art and as a founding member of GenArtSF. When she has free time, she enjoys running, gardening and supporting her daughters’ endeavors. Stephanie graduated from the distinguished Design, Art, Architecture and Design Program in Graphic Design at University of Cincinnati.

Web and Digital

Aaron Baxter, Web Development and Digital Marketing

Aaron Baxter has been in the web design industry for nearly 20 years and has spent the last 10 years helping companies increase their online marketing presence. Originally trained as a fine artist, he now specializes in frontend UI design and development and is especially adept at creating complex projects using content management systems. 

David Veasley, Web Development

David Veasley is a University of Houston graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. David also served for eight years in the Army reserves. He focuses on web/javascript development and production of interactive components. In addition to web development, he has extensive sales and e-commerce experience and has been involved in numerous successful web-based marketing campaigns.
