It was determined that Berrett-Koehler must capitalize on its personal side, as many of its audience members felt a true sense of community due to their products and business approach. The message of being part of a powerful global community is now a driving force behind the brand. This determination also resulted in a revision of the tagline and further definition and naming of sub-brands to help customers personally identify with the books offered.
